In the 1970’s, Knightsbridge was awash with ‘ladies who lunch’ sporting tweed skirts with a fur jacket. Lilly’s (LoveMyDog’s creative director) mum was one, and provided the inspiration for this stylish day wear collection. Hand-woven in pure wool from the cheviot sheep, the fabric is known as ‘nature’s miracle’ as it’s extremely soft, windproof and showerproof.
Tweed Designer Dog Lead
Hand cut in the LoveMyDog design studios and finished by traditional British belt-makers, the Sidworth Dog Lead is an icon of understated design. It’s strong enough to last a lifetime as tweed is famous for being hard wearing, yet this superb natural fibre also feels very comfortable in your hand.
Easy to Clean Dog Lead
Sidworth fabrics have an invisible Teflon coating, that shrugs off dirt and stains. Occasionally it may need a clean – after all, dogs do like to roll in some unspeakable things! When that happens, just hand wash the dog lead or give it a wipe over with a damp cloth, and it comes up looking like new.
Two Sizes of Dog Lead
The Sidworth Tweed Dog Lead is approximately 1 metre long and is available in a slim width for small dogs or regular width for medium to large dogs. Please take a look at the size guide to choose the best width for your dog. The sturdy metal clasp is of the type used on the saddles of thoroughbred horses, so the Sidworth lead has a wonderful quality feel to it and lasts for years.
The Sidworth lead has a matching collar and bowtie, which looks uber-chic when you’re out and about. A matching coat and pet carrier is also available.
The Sidworth Tweed collection is exclusive to LoveMyDog and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
